Job Description: Caliber Construction Alaska is looking for an experienced Pipe Layer with expertise in water, sewer, and storm-related utilities. If you have a passion for tackling complex projects and a background in Caliber's niches, we want you on our team. In addition to your pipe-laying skills, experience in shoring techniques and dewatering procedures is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Lay and install pipes for water, sewer, and storm utilities, following project specifications and blueprints.

Employ your knowledge of shoring techniques to ensure the safety of excavation sites.

Execute dewatering procedures to maintain a dry and efficient work environment.

Collaborate with the project team to ensure the efficient flow of work.

Perform tasks related to excavation, grading, and earthwork as needed.

Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times.

Operate heavy equipment, as required, in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Pipe Layer with a focus on water, sewer, and storm utilities.

Proficiency in shoring techniques to ensure excavation site safety.

Familiarity with dewatering procedures to maintain a dry work environment.

Knowledge of construction best practices, equipment operation, and safety procedures.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Willingness to adapt and contribute to a variety of project tasks.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
