As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Site Work, Grading, and Excavating Foreman to join our team.

Job Description:

As the Site Work, Grading, and Excavating Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site preparation, grading, and excavation projects. Your duties will include:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Setting grades and ensuring accuracy throughout the project.
  • Operating heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, and more.
  • Leading and supervising a team of operators and laborers.
  • Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conducting daily job site inspections and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Managing project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Providing training and guidance to crew members as needed.
  • Recording crew production and quantities to track project progress and performance.
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring proper maintenance procedures are followed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Foreman or Supervisor or 5 year as Operator or Grade Checker in site work, grading, or excavating projects.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of setting grades and operating heavy equipment.
  • Experience with excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, and other relevant equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
